2020 Spring Track and Field Season

REFUND POLICY:  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 8, 2021 WITHOUT A WRITTEN MEDICAL EXCUSE.  WITH A MEDICAL EXCUSE, A REFUND WILL BE ISSUED LESS A $15 PROCESSING FEE.


THE MINI PROGRAM (GRADES K THRU 1ST GRADE)  The Mini Program will practice on Tuesdays only.  Track Meets for the Mini's will take place on Tuesday evening in place of practices.  PLEASE SEE THE SEPARATE MINI PROGRAM TAB ON THE HOME PAGE FOR ALL INFORMATION.

REGISTRATION FOR THE CREEKS 2021 SPRING TRACK & FIELD SEASON IS OPEN JANUARY 16, 2020 - FEBRUARY 28, 2021.

LATE REGISTRATION ($25 LATE FEE) WILL RUN FROM MARCH 1ST THRU MARCH 7TH.  REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE PERMANENTLY ON MARCH 7TH.  NO FURTHER REGISTRATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED AFTER MARCH 7, 2021.   

PRACTICES ARE AT BARTRAM TRAIL HIGH SCHOOL ON MONDAYS AND/OR THURSDAYS FROM 6:00 - 8:00.   Practices on Thursday March 25th, April 1st and April 15th will be held at BTHS on the practice field near the outdoor basketball courts.


ALL ATHLETES WILL BE ASSIGNED TO PRACTICE ROTATIONS.  During registration you will need to choose your practice events.  Each child must choose a minimum of 3 events to practice.  Prior to the first practice, you will receive a rotation schedule for your child to follow during practices.

CREEKS TRACK & FIELD IS OFFERING A FLEXIBLE PRACTICE PROGRAM.  YOU MAY CHOOSE A 1-DAY OR 2-DAY PER WEEK PRACTICE SCHEDULE.  THIS WILL ALLOW MULTI-SPORT PARTICIPANTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TRACK & FIELD PROGRAM.   YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND PRACTICE EACH WEEK ON THE DAY(S) THAT WORK BEST FOR YOUR SCHEDULE.  THE PROGRAM COSTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1-DAY  $  100.00 per child + $3 processing fee + uniform cost of approximately $45 - $55
2-DAY  $  150.00 per child + $3 processing fee + uniform cost of approximately $45 - $55

You MAY use last year's uniforms.  If you have an unused uniform to sell or exchange, you may do so on the Buy and Sell Creeks Track Uniforms Facebook Page. 

REFUND POLICY:  No refunds after close of registration without a written medical excuse.  With a written medical excuse, a $15 processing fee will be charged in the event of a refund.

1-DAY PRACTICE PROGRAM IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
During the registration process you will be asked which day during the week you will be attending practice AND if you are registering for the 1 DAY PRACTICE PROGRAM.  If you are registering for the 1-Day Practice Program you MUST answer "Yes" to this question to receive your discount.  If you do not answer "Yes", you will be charged the 2 Day price of $150.00

Payment in full by credit card or debit card must be received before the registration process can be completed. 

The participant's age division will reflect their current grade.

The Creeks Track & Field season will begin Monday March 22, 2021 and continue through Sunday May 23, 2021. 

Practice Location:  Bartram Trail High School (BTHS) Track

Practice Days are Monday and/or Thursday from 6:00-8:00.  You must attend practice regularly to participate in the track meets.  Event sign ups for the track meets will be held through the coaches at practice only. 

If you registered for the 1-day practice program, feel free to come either Monday or Thursday, whichever fits your schedule better but you must choose a day during registration

MEET DATES:

Track meets are held early Sunday mornings beginning at 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Specific check-in times will be given prior to the meet.

We cannot control the weather forecast but we will do our best to accommodate any rained out meets.  Practice will be canceled during the week when the weather is bad.  Cancellations may occur do to lightening, heavy rain or poor field condition.

STAFF INFORMATION AND VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

Creeks Track & Field will have professional coaches, assisted by student athletes.  Parents coaches are needed to assist the coaches.

All families are required to volunteer.  Because of the size of our club, everyone needs to help out in some capacity. During registration, each family will be prompted to volunteer for at least one track meet or another capacity.  If you have more than one child in the program, it is strongly suggested that you volunteer for more than one meet. Keep in mind, we can use teen volunteers at the meets and they will receive volunteer hours.  Parents are not allowed on the track during meets, so volunteering for the meets is a great way to position yourself on the track and get a great view of your athlete in action!  I promise the volunteer roles are simple, clearly-outlined and fun!  Our goal is to make volunteering with us fun and stress-free.

Before each track meet, a Sign-up Genius will be forwarded to the volunteer group and you will have the opportunity to choose your volunteer position for that meet. 

IMPORTANT:  Please a take moment to read the Parental Responsibilities under the Parents tab above.  It is important to review and understanding all club policies.  Please note that due to the possibility of injury, illness, behavioral problems, weather cancellation or other issues, children participating in the club under the age of 12 must have a responsible adult present at the field at any and all practices and/or meets.  Children over the age of 12 who are without a guardian at the field must have a cell phone accessible for their personal use in case of any of the above stated issues.
