Registration & Program Info Winter 2025-26

Our program is a great introduction to Track & Field.  We are a recreational program, for ages 6 thru 14, so we do not require tryouts.  All skill levels are welcome.   Athletes must be Age 6 by December 31, 2025.

We strive for our athletes to develop awareness of body and limb positioning, gain confidence in running, jumping and throwing and learn event movement sequence and rules.

Our program is one of encouragement and stressing individual progress along with offering a degree of competition.

We have a staff of professional coaches in addition to student coaches who are all high school track athletes.  Our lead event coaches are certified in USATF Coaching Fundamentals with a Track & Field centered focus. 

REGISTRATION DATES:

OPEN REGISTRATION CLOSES NOVEMBER 2, 2025.   

You may register for the winter program up until January 5, 2026 but you will incur a  $25 late fee.  Coming in late also means that you will miss practice time (no discount for missed practices).

7U - 7U Program Info is highlighted in blue.  7U Athletes MUST BE AGE 6 BY 12/31/2025.  Please keep in mind that the 7U athletes must be able to focus and follow instructions.  Student coaches will be assigned to rotate through practice stations with the 7U group.

The registration fee includes all meets fees for our scheduled home meets held at Bartram Trail HS.  Should we offer outside optional meets, an additional registration fee may apply. 

8U thru 14U -- 10-DAY PRACTICE PACKAGE 
Choose any 10 Practices Days from our practice schedule.  Practice when it works for you!)
PRACTICES WILL BE OFFERED ON BOTH MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS
$ 195.00 per child + uniform cost - you may reuse a previous season's uniform
During registration you will be asked "are you registering for the 10 Day program?" Answering "Yes" will prompt the $25 discount in your account. 

8U thru 14U -- UNLIMITED PACKAGE
Choose and attend as many practices as your schedule allows!
A MINIMUM OF 17 MONDAY AND/OR WEDNESDAY PRACTICES WILL BE OFFERED
$ 220.00 per child 
+ uniform cost - you may reuse a previous season's uniform

7U PROGRAM - WEDNESDAY PRACTICES ONLY! 5:45pm - 7:20pm  (Mondays may be used for makeups if necessary) 
$ 195.00 per child + uniform cost - you may reuse a previous season's uniform

REFUND POLICY:  No refunds after close of open registration without a written medical excuse from a physician.  With a written medical excuse from a physician, a $15 processing fee will be charged in the event of a refund. After January 1, 2026, no refunds will be processed even with a written medical excuse.

DATES/TIMES/LOCATION: 

2025 Winter Track Season runs November 17, 2025 thru February 22, 2026.

Practice Dates:  Practice days for 8U thru 14U will be various Mondays and Wednesdays beginning in November.  There will be a minimum of 17 practice days offered to choose from.  Please remember we will share track space with high school athletics so there may be some changes.  REMINDER THE 7U GROUP PRACTICES ONLY ON WEDNESDAY AT 5:45 - 7:20

Schedule Changes:  We do our very best to keep schedule changes at a
minimum.   Although we do not foresee schedule changes, please keep in mind that we are working around high school sports and should weather or another factor affect the high school schedule, that may role over to us. 
There are no individual practice rain-out refunds.  We offer plenty of practice dates for you to choose a makeup date.  Practice will not be rescheduled unless we fall below our planned 17 practice dates.   

HOW DO OUR PRACTICES WORK?/CHOOSING YOUR PRACTICE EVENTS :

ALL ATHLETES WILL BE ASSIGNED TO PRACTICE STATIONS
Each child MUST choose 3 practice stations during registration. Prior to the first practice, you will receive a rotation schedule for these stations for your child to follow during practices.  Athletes are encouraged to try any event of interest to them.  Athletes may request changes in events should an event not be to their liking.   7U will participate in long jump, sprints and hurdles during practice time.  No deviation is allowed from these events.

Please attend practice regularly to participate in the track meets. 

Practice will be canceled during the week when the weather is bad.  Cancellations may occur do to lightening, heavy rain or poor field conditions.  Please note that due to the possibility of injury, illness, behavioral problems, weather cancellation or other issues, children participating in the club under the age of 12 must have a responsible adult present at the field at any and all practices and/or meets.  Children over the age of 12 who are without a guardian at the field must have a cell phone accessible for their personal use in case of any of the above stated issues.   


TRACK MEET INFORMATION: 

Athletes choose the events they would like to compete in at the meets.  Some events require coach clearance in order to compete.   7U will participate in the long jump, 100m sprint and 100m mini hurdles at the track meets.

UNIFORM INFORMATION:

Uniform order information will be shared on the parent BAND app.

You may reuse a previous season’s uniform

Uniforms are MANDATORY to participate in track meets.  The approximate cost for a uniform is $50.  

FOOTWEAR: Please make sure your child has a good supportive pair of running shoes to participate in the track program.  Spikes may be worn.  Spikes are encouraged not required.  The vast majority of our participants wear a traditional running shoe and not a spike.

All orders will be delivered to the track during practice once the orders arrive.
